We have been selling office supplies locally since 1982.
How can you possibly compete with large office suppliers such as Office Depot and Staples?
We are the largest independently owned office supplier in the region. We belong to a national buying group, much like the Ace hardware group, which buys hundreds of million of dollars of supplies directly from vendors such as 3M, Avery, Smead, Acco, Duracell and Westvaco. Our owners not only regularly see the sales representatives from these vendors, but our owners also have one-on-one, face-to-face meeting with executives from these manufacturers. The independent dealer group is the fastest growing segment of the industry, according to these executives.
Do you carry any inventory?
We stock in excess of 7,000 items, about as many as an ordinary office supply "superstore", in our 42,500 square foot warehouse. We don't carry computer games and cell phones, just office supplies and furniture. In addition to our inventory, we are online with several of the country's largest office supply wholesalers, insuring access to tens of millions of dollars worth of inventory overnight, enabling us to deliver over 98% of our orders the next day after you place your order.
Do you offer pre-priced catalogs so I know in advance what my price will be?
Much like the office supply superstores, we have two pre-priced catalogs, one with about 5,000 items, the other a more expansive 10,000 items. We have found that these two catalogs consistently equal or underprice the superstores on the vast majority of items.
What is your minimum order size?
Unlike the office supply superstores, which require a $50 minimum order for free delivery, we have no minimum order size for free delivery.
Do I place orders through an out of town call center?
No. We are proud that we have some of the most experienced customer service people in the industry, who will answer the phone themselves when you call. No operator, no voice mail - we have real people with real answers in real time.
Are your orders checked for accuracy?
Unlike so many dealers, including the superstores, who rely on third party vendors to "wrap & label" your orders, we double check every order going though our warehouse for accuracy.
How are returns handled?
In the event you are unhappy with a purchase, we will issue a "pick up ticket" and promptly credit your account, usually the next day, with no restocking fee.
